What is Aadhaar?

Aadhaar is a 12 digit identification number card issued by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

Aadhaar issued by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) will serving a unique identification of all individuals residing in India and may be used as a identity proof and/ or address proof all over the country.

Any individual resident in India who satisfies the verification process required by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) ireespective of age and gender could enrol for Aadhaar.

After completing the verification and formalities Aadhaar Card with a unique number will be provided to an individual and will remain valid for life.
